Garnet Birthstone – For January, For Her
Red garnet holds space for my grandmother Tripat, the heart of our family. Born in January, she taught me grace, grit, and how to always wear your jewels with pride.
Ghungroo – My Rhythm, My Roots
I’ve been a dancer for as long as I can remember. I still hold onto my ghungroos and the feeling they stir when they jingle. Now, I wear one around my neck, carrying that rhythm and movement with me, always.
Tulip - with my birthstone – Amsterdam in Bloom
This one’s for the city I now call home. A tulip in full bloom, reminds me of spring mornings, open skies, and how much I’ve grown here, petal by petal.
Beetle – My Tattoo, My Talisman
Etched into my skin and now cast in gold, the beetle is my quiet symbol of resilience. I often glance at my tattoo to remind myself of the strength I carry and now, worn as a charm, it speaks of transformation, endurance, and a beauty that never fades.
Mango – A Slice of India
Juicy summers, sticky fingers, bright yellow joy. The mango is my madeleine, a sweet reminder of my childhood in India, full of flavour, freedom, and golden afternoons beneath the sun.
