Jewellery Care
A Little Love Goes a Long Way
Every Tripat piece is handcrafted to be worn and loved every day.
Here’s how to care for your modern heirlooms so they shine for years to come.
Recycled Gold Care
14K gold is strong and made to last, but even gold appreciates a little gentleness. To keep its shine, avoid contact with harsh chemicals like perfumes, chlorine, or cleaning agents. Clean it occasionally with mild soap and a soft cloth. And when you’re not wearing it, tuck it away in your tripat soft pouch to prevent scratches. Gold pieces can also be polished by your local jeweler.
Enamel Work Care
Our enamel details are handcrafted and delicate, with a glass-like finish that needs gentle handling. The biggest risk is cracking from impact, so avoid drops, knocks, or pressure. To preserve the color and finish, keep enamel away from water, lotions, and perfumes. After wearing, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and when storing, wrap it in a soft pouch or cloth to prevent chips or scratches from contact with other jewellery.
Gemstone Care
Each gemstone in your Tripat piece was handpicked for its story, hue, and sparkle and with a little care, they’ll stay luminous for years to come.
Stones like aquamarine, quartz, tourmaline, citrine, amethyst, and garnet are relatively resilient, but it’s best to avoid hard impact and prolonged exposure to heat or sunlight. Emeralds, with their natural inclusions, are the most delicate and need extra TLC. For all stones, a soft cloth, warm water, and mild soap will keep them looking their best, just avoid ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
Porous stones like pearls, turquoise and opals are more sensitive and can stain from oils or liquids. Avoid contact with creams, sunscreens, or household chemicals, and always remove your jewellery before heading to the beach - salt, sun, and sand aren’t the kindest companions. A rinse in lukewarm water and a gentle polish with a soft, lint-free cloth will help them stay radiant.
Storage Tip
Every Tripat piece comes with a reusable, travel-friendly pouch that’s perfect for storing your charms safely. And for longer journeys, a jewellery wallet with individual compartments keeps everything secure, untangled, and just where you left it.
